It is dedicated to ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities in developing countries, without discrimination of gender, ethnicity, social group or religion. It was formed in 1988. In Nepal, Technical & Skill Development Center for the Blind & Disabled (TSDCBD) gave vocational training to 367 young persons with various disabilities and learning difficulties. The courses were diverse: computer training, repair of mobile phones, English classes, candle-making, weaving and so on. |
