According to the article, it is said that Malaysia is becoming a promising destination due to the lucrative salary. Malaysia is also a top worker hiring country. The minimum wage of the worker is 900 Malaysian Ringgit (Rs. 25,930) The other popular destinations are Saudi Arabia, United arab emirates and Qatar with the wage or rupees Rs 17477.00, 18977.00, 19,173.00 respectively. The average lowest wage in Saudi Arabia is 34,916, but however Nepali workers are earning just Rs 17,477. In other Gulf countries, workers are earning around 200 $, but most migrant female workers i.e. housemaids are earning less than 15,000. |

According to this article, Malaysia ranks top in the popular destination of the Nepali workers in numbers. Similarly it is also stated that the number of departures in the Southeast Asian countries have increased to 60 percent in the fiscal year 2012-13.Out of the total workers in Malaysia, female workers count 7,165. Its also stated that the state operated companies are safer as they offer better work place with good wages, overtime and insurance facility. |
