Heifer Project International
It was established in 1944 for ending poverty and hunger in a sustainable fashion. It gives out gifts of livestock, seeds and trees and extensive training to those in need. In Nepal, it has been working since 1957.


  Helen Keller International
It was founded in 1915 for preventing blindness and reducing malnutrition in the world. The mission is to save the sight and lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. In Nepal, it has been working 1989. Current programs include

  • Action Against Malnutrition through agriculture
  • School Health/Trachoma Control


  Helping Hands Foundation (HHF)
It strives to materialize the warmth between the Nepalese and their foreign guests and use the goodwill to bring smiles in the faces of both the underprivileged children of Nepal and their foreign admirers.


  Helvetas Nepal
It promotes self-reliant and sustainable development. It came to Nepal in 1956 and now cooperates with many technical and social organizations in all 75 districts across the country. The organization works within five working areas, Education and Skills Development, Environment and Climate, Governance and Peace, Rural Economy and Water and Infrastructure.


  Himalayan Trust
It has been involved in education, health services, reforestation, building airports, trails, bridges, water supplies and preservation of local cultural monuments.


  Impact Foundation
It is an international programme to prevent and alleviate needless disability. The aim is that no one should become needlessly disabled by disease, lack of knowledge or shortage of medical services.


  International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD)
It is committed to economically and environmentally sound mountain development and improving the living standards of mountain communities. It was established in 1983. It is a regional intergovernmental learning and knowledge sharing centre serving the eight regional member countries of the Hindu Kush Himalayas.
